This list reflects only what shops state. Ford sets the requirements for its own program, and certifications are renewed and can lapse. Confirm a shop’s current status with Ford’s own certified-shop locator or customer line before you rely on it. A shop missing here may still be certified — we just couldn’t confirm it from its website.
Why a Ford-certified shop?
Manufacturer programs generally require the tools, training and repair procedures the carmaker specifies for its vehicles. That matters most for structural damage, aluminum or high-strength steel, high-voltage EV systems, and the cameras and radar behind bumpers and windshields that often need calibrating after a repair. For cosmetic damage, a skilled independent shop may be all you need. Either way, you choose the shop — in California your insurer can’t require a particular one.
